What we do

Treatments, explained before they start

Preventive & general dentistry

Check-ups, hygiene visits, fillings and gum care. The unglamorous work that stops most of the expensive work from ever being needed. We will always tell you when something can safely be left alone.

Cosmetic dentistry

Whitening, bonding and veneers planned around your face, not a shade guide. You see a digital preview before anything is prepared.

Clear aligners

Discreet straightening using intraoral scans instead of impression trays, with a six-weekly review and retainers included in the quoted price.

Dental implants

Single implants through to full-arch work, planned in-house with 3D imaging so the surgical and restorative stages are handled by the same team.

Emergency care

Pain, swelling or a broken tooth. We hold slots back every morning, so call before 10am and you will be seen the same day.

About Northline

A small practice, on purpose

Two dentists, a hygienist and a coordinator. You see the same faces at every visit, and whoever answers the phone already knows who you are and what you are halfway through.

Prices before treatment

Every plan is written down and costed before we pick up an instrument. Nothing appears on your bill that you have not already seen and agreed.

One team, start to finish

Scans, surgery and restorations happen in this building with these people. Nothing gets referred out and lost between diaries.

Nervous patients welcome

Longer appointments, a stop signal you control, and sedation if you want it. Tell us what went wrong last time and we will work around it.

What Seattle patients say

Portrait of Northline Dental patient Jenna M.
I had not seen a dentist in nine years and was dreading the lecture. There wasn't one. Everything was explained before it happened and I have been back twice since, on time, no drama.

Chipped a front tooth on a Friday morning. They saw me at eleven, bonded it, and I was back at my desk by one looking completely normal.

The aligner quote included the retainers and every review appointment. Eleven months later the final invoice matched the first estimate to the dollar.

My eight-year-old asks when his next appointment is. I still do not understand how they managed that, but I am not going to question it.

Questions

Things patients ask us most

Yes. We hold roughly a fifth of the diary open for new patients, so a first check-up is usually available within a week or two. Emergencies are different: call before 10am and we will see you the same day.

About forty-five minutes. A full examination, x-rays only where they will change what we do, a gum assessment, and a written plan with costs. Nothing is booked until you have read it.

Every day. Tell us when you book and we will allow extra time, talk through each step before it happens, and agree a hand signal that stops everything immediately. Oral and intravenous sedation are both available.

A check-up is $95 and a hygiene visit is $120. Anything beyond that is quoted in writing after your examination, and the quote is what you pay. If we find something mid-treatment we stop and talk to you first.

Yes. Interest-free over six months on treatment above $600, and longer terms through our finance partner. You will see the monthly figure before you commit to anything.

We are in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna and Aetna, and we will file claims on your behalf for any other PPO plan.
